Care for upper baby panties

The upper baby panties (PUL) with polyurethane coating do not have to be washed after each use. Usually, wipe them with a damp cloth or rinse under running water. Wash them in a washing machine at 40°C up to 60°C (as recommended on the label), do not use bleaching agents.

NEVER PLACE THE PANTIES DIRECTLY ON THE HEATING with the polyurethane layer or stretch them. If the panties begin to be damp in the selvages, buy wool wax, spread with your finger, and dry it with a hairdryer. If the panties keep being damp, then they have been destroyed due to improper use, and it is therefore necessary to buy new ones.

Do not wash fleece upper panties with towels and nappies, so that the fleece would not get pilled (functionality does not change, it is an aesthetic issue). Fleece upper panties dry very quickly.

The following rule applies to woollen panties

The less they are washed, the better. Woollen panties regenerate with the urine. If they are not dirty, wash them manually once in 2 to 3 weeks in a wool detergent. Rub the panties gently with your fingers, rinse in clean water and wring them by hand. Regularly, once in 4 to 6 weeks, or when the panties begin to leak, perform their impregnation using the lanolin treatment. Never dry woollen panties in direct sunlight, on a radiator or in a tumble dryer.

Lanolin treatment I:

Dissolve 1 - 2 tablespoons of lanolin impregnation in 1 litre of hot water and allow cooling to about 30°C. Soak the washed panties in this bath for 4 - 6 hours, after removing from the bath, rinse them in 2 - 4 litres of water, wring them gently in your hands and allow them to dry freely.

Lanolin treatment II:

In the pharmacy, buy wax from sheep's wool (cera lanae), which is a yellow greasy ointment whose price is about 40 CZK per 50 g (please do not confuse with adeps lanae, which is sheep's wool fat). In a bucket, dissolve about 1/2 teaspoon of this fat in 1 litre of boiling water, add one drop of baby or another gentle shampoo - necessary to dissolve the wax. Stir and add cold water, so that the bath temperature was maximum 30°C. Then dip your woollen panties. We recommend soaking the panties inside out first - most lanolin is caught on the inner side, which is the most exposed, then turn them back.
